Pearl of Papua Description

A brand new ship on the seas of Raja Ampat, the Pearl of Papua, was completed in 2010 and has since proved herself very popular with many guests. This Buginese schooner is 28 meters in length and can accommodate up to 15 guests.

Made in South Sulawesi this wooden phinisi schooner is fitted with the latest marine technology and equipment, to give you comfort and style.

With seven cabins in all: two Master Cabin with double bed and two single beds on the upper deck, with large windows, giving amazing views, one Suite Cabin on the lower deck, with one single bed and a double bed and four standard cabin with bunk beds on the lower deck, all the cabins on the lower deck have portholes and windows. All cabins has A/C and en suite bathrooms.

There is ample deck room, and a sundeck to soak up the rays. The lounge and dining area are indoors and are provided with A/C to make meals and relaxing a cool breeze. The professional chef and stewards ensure your dining satisfaction, while the purpose built spa attends to your pampering needs, they can even set up a massage table on the deck if you so require.

Specifically designed for liveaboard diving excursions, the Pearl of Papua provides gear-up stations assigned for each diver throughout the expedition, rinse tank, a dedicated camera table and battery charging stations (both 110V and 220V).
